I registered for Ayacon. The website keeps going down, but I'm through and that's all that matters. It's funny going down the members list and being able to recognize so many of my friends just by their badge names. I have a new piercing! I've wanted a septum piercing for ages, but I've never had the guts to go through with it. It looks painful and I hadn't done enough research on it, so right up until I sat down in the piercing studio I thought I was getting pierced through the cartilage. Thankfully not. There's a bit of skin before the cartilage starts and that's where the piercing goes through. I'm not going to lie and say it was "painless", but it certainly wansn't painful. Just a pinch and you're done. Stings like hell afterwards though.

Quieten down in the peanut gallery. I know they're "scene" piercings, and I don't care because they're also my piercings.
